Bucky Noh Dhol is Madison's premier Raas-Garba competition, inviting collegiate teams from across the country to showcase their expertise on one stage at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Originating in Gujarat, Raas and Garba are energetic folk dances celebrated during festive occasions like Navratri — and BND gives dancers a platform to share their passion for these traditions.

Our mission is to celebrate and preserve this cultural heritage through an electrifying, inclusive competition — one that brings diverse communities together, fosters creativity and teamwork, and deepens our connection to tradition through the art of dance.
